Eligibility Criteria
For Primary Teacher (Class 1–5): Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution along with BTC, B.El.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in graduation or the relevant training programme. Final-year eligible candidates may also be permitted to apply as per rules.
For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6–8): Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in certain cases as per rules) along with B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification. Final-year candidates in the relevant course may also be eligible as per rules. Candidates holding special education qualifications from institutions recognised by RCI are also eligible. In some cases, candidates with a 4-year integrated teacher training programme and 50% marks in Intermediate may apply.
