What is Sarkari Result?
A Sarkari Result is the official outcome of a government exam — the merit list, scorecard and category-wise cut-off released by the conducting body. This section reports each result as declared and links the official PDF or result portal.
How to check a government exam result
Results are published on the conducting body's website, usually as a PDF merit list of roll numbers first and a login-based scorecard a few days later. Open the result link from our post, search the PDF with Ctrl+F for your roll number, and download the scorecard when the login opens — you will need it for document verification and for later applications that ask for previous scores.
Most results also carry the cut-off marks per category and, for multi-stage exams, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next stage (Tier II, mains, PET/PST, skill test or interview) with its schedule. Read the result notice, not just the list: it states the normalisation method, tie-break rules and how to request a re-evaluation or raise a grievance.
What each result document means
| Document | What it contains | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Result / merit list PDF | Roll numbers qualified, category-wise | Confirms selection for the next stage |
| Scorecard / marks sheet | Your marks, normalised score, rank | Needed for DV, counselling and later applications |
| Cut-off notice | Lowest qualifying score per category | Tells you the margin and what to target next time |
| Final answer key | Key used to compute marks | Verify your score; objections are closed by this stage |
| DV / medical schedule | Dates, venue, documents required | Missing it cancels the candidature |
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the results information on this page come from?
Each post is written from the official notice published by the conducting body and links that source (PDF or page). If a figure here and the official document ever disagree, the official document is correct — please tell us so we can fix it.
The result link is not opening — what should I do?
Official portals are overloaded in the first hour after a result. Wait 15–30 minutes, try the direct PDF link in our post, or open the site's result page from the menu. Never enter your details on a mirror site — only the domain named in the notification is genuine.
What is normalisation in SSC and Railway results?
When an exam runs in multiple shifts, scores are normalised to adjust for difficulty differences between shifts using the formula published by SSC / RRB. The normalised score, not the raw marks, decides the merit list and the cut-off.
