Sarkari Naukri 2026: what this site covers

Exam Notification is a government-job alert website for candidates preparing for central and state government recruitment in India. Central government exams: SSC, UPSC, Railway, Bank, Defence

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) runs the largest Group B and C recruitments — SSC CGL for graduates, SSC CHSL for 12th pass, SSC MTS and Havaldar for 10th pass, SSC GD Constable for the paramilitary forces, SSC CPO (Delhi Police / CAPF Sub-Inspector), SSC JE and SSC Stenographer. UPSC conducts the Civil Services (IAS/IPS), CDS, NDA, CAPF Assistant Commandant, ESE and the EPFO exams. State government jobs: UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, MP and every other state

Most vacancies in India are state-level. Uttar Pradesh recruits through UPSSSC (PET, Lekhpal, Junior Assistant, VDO), UPPSC (PCS, RO/ARO, LT Grade), the UP Police Recruitment Board (Constable, SI, Jail Warder) and UP Basic Education. Bihar hires through BPSC (TRE teacher recruitment, CCE), BSSC, CSBC (Bihar Police Constable), BTSC and Bihar Vidhan Sabha. Rajasthan uses RPSC and RSMSSB (CET, Patwari, LDC); Madhya Pradesh uses MPESB (Vyapam) and MPPSC; Haryana uses HSSC CET; Maharashtra uses MPSC; and Delhi uses DSSSB. Each state also announces Anganwadi, ASHA, Home Guard, Gram Panchayat and outsourcing (Rojgar Sangam) posts.

Government job recruitment cycle: what to expect and when

Before you pay an application fee: a 60-second check

• The notification is on the authority's own domain (gov.in / nic.in / the board's official site) — never a Telegram forward or a look-alike site.
• Your age on the cut-off date in the notification, not today, is within the limit after relaxation (SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10 years in most central exams).
• Your qualification is complete on the last date of application (a final-year result awaited is often not accepted).
• The fee amount and the payment window match the PDF — many boards close fee payment a day or two after the form.
• Photo and signature follow the size, background and date specifications; a rejected photo is the most common reason a form is cancelled.
• You have saved the registration number, the final PDF of the form and the payment receipt.
