Our accuracy record
Every figure on this page is counted from the site's own records, not written by hand. It covers the last 365 days and is recomputed each time the page loads, which means it gets worse when we do.
How quickly a notification becomes a page
Across 202 pages whose source document we discovered ourselves, the median gap between the document appearing and the page going live was 17.4 hours. 18% were live within an hour, and the fastest was 3 minutes.
Pages written from a document we were sent rather than found have no start time to measure, so they are excluded rather than counted as instant. A gap of more than a fortnight is treated as backfilling an old notification, not as a slow response, and is also left out — both exclusions make the number worse, not better.
Corrections
0 of the 270 pages published in this window have been corrected after the issuing authority amended its own document or we got something wrong — 0.0%. Every one is listed, because a correction count with nothing behind it is a claim rather than a record.
No corrections have been needed in this window.
Sourcing
71% of these pages link the official document they were written from, and 35% have been checked against it and marked verified. 15 carry an update log showing what changed and when.
What these numbers do not say
- They do not say the pages are free of errors — only how many errors were found and fixed. An error nobody reported is in neither number.
- The median is a median: half the pages were slower than it.
- "Verified" means a person or the automated check compared the page against the linked document. It is not a guarantee the document itself is current, which is why amendments are tracked separately.
